The E-Commerce Manager’s responsibility is to be the local market expert and driving local relevancy and competitiveness of the business across product, platform, and health of site, price and customer experience by working closely with global stakeholders (marketing, product, and supply and customer experience teams)


Job Description

KPI tracking and Day-to-Day Operations (30%)

  • Maintain market site health by monitoring key metrics (visitors, transactions, conversion, platform, marketing channel & Hotel/Flight/Package performance etc.) and develop/implement performance improvement plans
  • Monitor, analyze and diagnose site issues through site analytics tools and raise site issues/booking issues for resolution


Customer Journey Analysis (30%)

  • Understand and report on key drivers of customer conversion (UI, bugs, site features, etc.), including customer satisfaction and attrition (Funnel analysis)
  • Actively investigate known or suspected issues of conversion breakdown through different sources, including customers’ opinions, error reports, outages, research, and employee observations. Quantify issue impact on the P&L and produce business case to drive appropriate prioritization


Local insights and competitiveness (30%)

  • Be the local market expert and go-to person by sharing local market and competitor insights, local market data with global stakeholders
  • Enhance functional performance through global initiatives including competitor teardowns, bug bashes, user acceptance test, user research, localization & tone of voice review
  • Develop strong Test and Learn ideas to improve site performance by adopting a common, hypothesis based approach
  • Identify customer experience opportunities in partnership with Global Customer Experience team


Drive growth and strategy (10%)

  • Understand Winning Market Strategies and support key market initiatives
  • Identify and lead key opportunities through Destination lenses (e.g. Top destinations, domestic, Inbound)

  • Eコマースビジネス経験
  • マーケティング、データ分析ツール使用経験(Adobe Analytics、Google Analyticsなど)
