About Our Client:


Our client, one of the global leaders in intelligent information for media for business and professionals is urgently looking for an a Sales Specialist for their Buy side product division based in Taiwan.


Position Overview


To sell specialized products to Asset management and build on reputation as a business, markets or technology




  • Deliver recurring and outright revenue
  • Secure liquidity/ usage growth on selected products.
  • Exploring and developing opportunities and leads provided by other sources
  • Providing expertise relative to the customer segment (expert in markets-based product knowledge)- Ensure the effective handover of accounts to the account management team post set up
  • Gathers feedback from the customers
  • Maintaining customer contacts and opportunity data in CRM systems.
  • Developing unique approaches to problems facing financial markets, IT and business owners.
  • Planning the pitch with the account manager.
  • Responsible for selling set of products to Asset management segment in Asia, building on expert knowledge to target client base, recognize client needs and propose
  • Actively in developing opportunities




  • Fluent English (both verbal and written)
  • Good Mandarin  (both verbal and written an advantage)
  • 3 to 5 years working experience
  • Ability to handle customer contacts and internal strategic business units
  • Able to work under pressure with flexibility and result oriented  
  • A Proven track record meeting sales revenue
  • Prior Customer Experience/Account Management/Solutions Sales experience working with asset management, international investment banks, brokerage houses and hedge funds
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with effective and positive leadership qualities desired
  • Able to negotiate and close- A self-starter to drive the sales process within assigned accounts.
  • Motivated and the ability to work pro-actively
  • Sound negotiation skills and a strong team player
  • Excellent financial market and industry knowledge required including business processes: pricing, Investment, settlement, operations etc.
