Job Description
Our client, a global fashion retailer is urgently looking for a Regional Quality Control Manager to join their group.
Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for quality control of apparel and accessory items
- Work with factories & buyers to achieve the required quality standards
- Monitor production progress as well as ensure product quality
- Liaise with buyers and ensure the execution of corrective action and compliance with buyers’ specifications
- Provide technical advice and support to merchandising team to ensure all buyers’ requirement are met
- Manage, control and keep within budget, monthly QC operation expenses
- Execute and review the quality control procedure and manuals
- Tackle quality problems and initiative preventative measures
Requirements
- University degree holder in Textile / Clothing or equivalent
- Minimum 8 - 10 years solid working experience in production quality control
- Strong knowledge of garment construction and good technical background
- Experienced in sizeable garment trading / manufacturing / buying office preferred
- Good management and leadership skills
- Well organized, proactive and flexible
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in using MS office including PowerPoint
- Willing to travel
- Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
