Our Client, a Japanese infant products company, is now seeking for R&D Manager position. 


  1. Direct and control the staffs to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained and carry out their responsibilities to the required standards;
  2. Develop and maintain all necessary procedures in accordance with company standards regulations;
  3. Develop and introduce sufficient new advanced products for Global Business expansion by co-working with RDCN and RDJP;
  4. Closely work with Senior Manager in product development plan, budget and schedule to ensure that all projects are effectively costed and completed on schedule;
  5. Supervise and monitor the advanced R&D team on the product design to ensure that they meet all quality and safety standards and innovative products are to be developed;


1. Bachelor Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering/ Product Design / Graphic Design / R&D or other relevant disciplines;

2. 5 years or above with 2 years in supervisory level in extensive experience and capacity to lead product development projects;

3. Knowledge of methodologies, tools and techniques for designing, building and managing the manufacture of new products;

4. Broad experience in merchandising and sourcing of the infant products with an extensive profession network of research organizations, design companies, and product manufacturers.

5. A thorough understanding of the R&D environment;

6. Good communication skill as well as research and analysis skills;

7. Good knowledge in PC software, Illustrator & Photoshop is a MUS
