Urgent - Language Manager (Japanese Travel Company)
Our Client, a Japanese Travel Company, is now seeking for Language Manager.
Responsibilities
- Translation and proofreading from English into Traditional or Simplified Chinese
- Maintain the quality of the target language
- Create and spearhead language initiatives to standardize and improve translations
- Perform QA investigations and document feedback and solutions
- Liaise with both the Business and Development Units and provide feedback
- Update language guides and develop process for continuous improvement
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Native-level Traditional or Simplified Chinese
- Fluency in English (TOEIC Score: Above 900)
- 5 years of experience translating and/or writing localized copy
- 3 years of experience in a leadership role and/or leading initiatives
- 3 years of experience working in the travel, hospitality, e-commerce, or related industry
- Strong computer skills
- Experience using Computer Assisted Translation tools
- Experience using social media that is native to the target market
- Passion for customer service
