Job Description

Our client, an Europeran leading manufacturer of connectors and contact systems, providing innovative solutions for demanding applications. The company has 50 years of engineering and design experience to continually break new ground in the field of advanced contact technology. Due to rapid expansion, they are looking for a Business Development Lead to be based in Hong Kong.

 Responsibilities

  • Implement the business development and marketing strategies to identify potential new business opportunities 
  • Work out new proposals for either new clients or existing customers when required
  • Conduct market research on competitors’ information such as pricing, products, industry coverage, etc. and provide market/industry analysis to the management team for designing strategic plans to cope with the competitive market and trend
  • Handle incoming enquiries from existing clients and work out business proposals for them to enhance business growth

 Requirements

  • University graduate in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • At least 8 years' working experience in connectors business
  • Sound analytical skills and result-driven with strong initiative, integral and committed character
  • Able to work independently and under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills that enhance effectiveness with all levels of staff
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Cantonese, Putonghua and English
  • Based in Hong Kong with some regional travel for business meetings if required
