Analyst (Assistant Relationship Manager) - Corporate Banking

 

Our client, a prestigious international bank, is looking for an Analyst (Assistant Relationship Manager) for the Japanese Corporate Banking Department.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support Relationship Managers by conducting administrative and operational activities in order to develop and maintain customer relationships by contacting primary office and customers in understanding their business and prepare and verify documents for new account opening

  • Perform customer due diligence preparation including but not limited to KYC, FATCA, CRS or such other checks as required by regulations

  • Contact or visit customers to establish and maintain business relationship and account services and obtain documents and information for customer due diligence

  • Work in partnership with operations department related to account maintenance such as preparing and processing necessary account documents at requests and instructions of customers and in the process of due diligence checks

  • Prepare credit related applications and reports

  • Resolve credit processes or credit operational issues, as well as preparation of customer’s documentation and reports

  • Identify and mitigate credit risks and to monitor credit risks of the assigned credit customers

  • Cooperate with Credit Examiners and Internal or External Audit to support inspections on credit portfolio and credit risk management

 

Requirements:

  • Desirable to have at least 1+ years of relevant experience

  • Good command in English

  • Good command in Mandarin or Cantonese or Japanese (Japanese is not a must but will be a huge advantage)

  • Good interpersonal skills to deal courteously and effectively with others
