Job Description

AML Assistant Manager (1 year contract, multiple headcount)

 

Our client, a reputable bank, now is looking for an AML Assistant Manager who will work in Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Department as below.

 

Responsibilities

  • In charge of AML functions on an on-going basis, including detection and reporting of suspicious transactions and activities

  • Regular reviews for the improvement of the AML functions of the Bank, and perform AML risk assessment

  • Develop and promote risk-based tools/monitoring systems and maintain the AML related database

  • Handling enquiries from the law enforcement/regulatory authorities in Hong Kong

  • Communicate and coordinate with relevant departments on anti-money laundering related issues

  • Responsible for internal anti-money laundering training sessions

  • Support in handling Anti-Money Laundering ("AML") issues and provide AML advisory support

  • Review and comment on the Bank's manuals, policies and guidelines from an AML perspective

 

Requirements

  • University graduates with a minimum of 3 years' working experience in the banking industry with experience in handling enquiries of law enforcement authorities and anti-money laundering compliance

  • Professional qualification on AML, such as AAMLP, ACAMS, etc. and knowledge in data-base management and SQL is an advantage

  • A confident, efficient and effective team player with initiative, and able to work independently as well as exercise judgment, work under pressure and liaise effectively with the business and supporting units

  • Excellent command in both written and spoken English and Chinese

  • Proficient in MS Office
