Job Description
Responsibilities: -
-
Provide supports to Japan Team on new product development, product quality matters, and existing products’ technical matters etc.
-
Liaise with internal functions such as QA on product quality matters, Technical Services on ingredient list and nutrition fact table, Regulatory on product regulations of local market, R&D on new product development, and Packaging on new package development etc.

Responsible for liaison with distributors on product quality, existing products’ technical matters, new product development, and new package development etc.

Responsible for implementation of approved plans/programs and recommend changes in the plans, if necessary, and meeting deadlines for the plans

Coordinate with internal functions to facilitate processing of received sales order and update order/sales status on weekly basis
-
Handle customers’ technical enquires and follow up with relevant parties (both internal and external) with prompt actions

Handle ad-hoc assignments
Requirements: -
-
Bachelor Degree in Science, with major in food science preferable
-
Minimum 3 years of working experience in product development, preferably in FMCG industry
-
Understand Japan market and its dynamic is an added benefits

Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese, knowledge in Japanese is an added benefits

Work independently under pre-agreed guidelines

Good team player and appreciate company’s corporate culture

Proactive and with good communication skills in working with business partners

Proficient in PC software e.g. MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
-
Willing to travel
