COMPANY OVERVIEW
Our client, a Online Game company is looking for candidates Japanese Speaking Content Specialist.
 
 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Write, localize and / or translate Japanese content for a range of products including but not limited to Sportsbook and Casino. 
  • Support the delivery of a variety of projects, products and features across brands, customer segments and areas of the business, in line with respective brand and content guidelines. This will include but not be limited to: multi-channel campaigns, communication plans, product specifications, T&Cs, surveys, how-to guides and real-world general topics.
  • Build CRM communications such as onsite, mailers, SMS and surveys in their corresponding systems.
  • Work closely with other teams (CRM / Customer Service / Brand / VIP) to maintain a feedback loop and understand what existing and potential players want and how the campaigns’ performance is impacted by content.
  • Monitor engagement rates for player-facing content and employ strategies to test an optimize engagement in collaboration with the CRM team.
  • Continuously monitor and review our player sites to ensure these are properly functioning and that the correct content is displayed and fully optimized. 
  • Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies) to ensure your content is clear, informative and engaging.
  • Identify and draw observations on the needs of our players and assist to identify any existing gaps in our content as well as be able to recommend new topics or new approaches on how to write content for current topics.
  • Perform other job duties as requested.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Candidates should be able to communicate to a native level of Japanese with excellent command of the written language and have the ability to write in different styles depending on different brands and tonalities.
  • A good written and verbal level of English and the ability to work with stakeholders with clear communication. 
  • Past experience in handling English to Japanese translations, designed for the customer view.
  • Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, the ability to be self-sufficient and work in a fast-paced environment and be able to talk through examples of having demonstrated this in past work experience. 
  • A strong team player, someone who understands the importance of working in a team and be able to support and demonstrate understanding to team members and other stakeholders.
  • Previous work experience in sportsbook or a keen interest in sports would be considered a plus.
