My client is a well-established consultancy firm with I banks clientele, due to expansion they are now seeking for an Application Business Analyst with strong knowledge with financial products and versed with the development and maintenance of Orchestrade trading application.


  • To Collaborate business stakeholders in Asia & APAC project coordinator and developments teams to deliver Orchestrade enhancements/correction based on project priorities
  • Deliver BRD to development team, when applicable initiate configuration/testing, and follow the SIT and UAT until delivery
  • Work with autonomy and independence but within the framework of a global development team
  • Delivery of business and technology projects and evolutions to global release within the trading platform
  • Resolution of technical issues on the global trading hubs
  • Ensuring that documentation and work tickets are updated appropriately
  • Candidate should have a pro-active mindset in security, incident preventive measures, productivity and global improvement of the quality of service

Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities

  • Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the Hong Kong Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer
  • Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence


  • Strong knowledge of financials products:

o  Rates linear

o  Rates non-linear

o  FX options

  • Strong skills in support or BA/PM on FO systems:

o  Ability to understand user needs and translate them in BRD

o  Strong understanding of FO systems & business workflows

o  Ability to work with users and developers (SIT, UAT) until delivery

  • Basic skills of programming language

o  Java /.Net/ C# 

o  PowerShell, Python, XML


  • Monitoring Tools

o  Deep understanding of monitoring a low latency high availability environment and understanding of the specificities of providing deterministic performance

o  Track record of building focused monitoring platforms

o  Experience of ITRS Geneos is advantageous

  • Good communicator in writing and verbally (English)
  • Familiarity of project management methods: Agile, Prince2, Lean
